Scale Shield is a Ignition Ability used by Karin Sasaki.
Usage[]
Karin summons hexagonal shapes of flame that can as shields. He is able to place them arround somebody to protect them from attacks or debris. Karin can also create a wall of Scales to form barricades and roadblocks to stop enemy advancements. It appears that they can be used in conjunction with Flamy Ink to make Ogun's attacks even stronger.
Scale Shield: Full Force Deployment[]
With the support of of Pan, Scale Shield: Full Force Deployment allows Karin to create countless scales come together to create a semi-dome large enough to protect an entrire coastline. While the technique is stressful for Karin to use, it is powerful enough to block attacks from Titan Infernals. It is unknown how strong this ability would be without the boosted strength all Third Generation gained during the Second Cataclysm.
