Amon Hajiki (亜門 弾木) is a former first platoon chief Fire Soldier of Special Fire Force Company 2.
Personality[]
Amon is a friendly and talkative individual, who also enjoys gossiping with his peers about his Captain's baldness. He's known to be a very forgetful person, even forgetting about and failing to use his strongest abilities while participating in the Rookie Fire Soldier Games.

Being a Second Generation Pyrokinetic,[1] Amon's eyes allowed him to see thermal signals in his vicinity and even behind walls and clothing. Using the ability in conjunction with his machine guns, Amon was capable of defeating several Infernals outside his field of vision with ease, giving others the impression he has eyes in the back of his head.
Background[]
Upon signing up to the Rookie Fire Soldier Games in Year 193, he forgot to disclose he was a Pyrokinetic, leading him to being chosen as the most valuable non-Pyrokinetic player, despite him using his ability to reach the tournament's goal easily.
Plot[]
The Company 1 Investigation arc[]
After hearing that Takeru Noto was going to train with Special Fire Force Company 1, Amon discussed it with the new recruit at the Special Fire Base 2's cafeteria, during which he informed Takeru of their companies joke about Gustav Honda. Sometime later, Amon alongside his brigade confront a giant Infernal in Tokyo, which Gustav destroys.
Operation Nether Investigation arc[]

The day after his brigade is tasked with investigating all the facilities of the Netherworld with Special Fire Force Company 8, Amon leads a search team to investigate the area in the morning. Entering the area with Takeru, he falls victim to Tamaki Kotatsu's Lucky Lewd Syndrome as he introduces himself to her, during which he witnesses an explosion occurring and Infernals beginning to attack his group. Shooting off the Infernals on Takeru, Amon killed the rest of the Infernals in the area with his weapons. Afterwards, he is approached by Orochi who immediately bisected his head.
Etymology[]
- The name Amon means "second, Asia" (亜) (a) and "gate" (門) (mon).
- Amon's surname Hajiki means "bullet, shot, shell" (弾) (haji) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki/gi).
